Trustees of Leavenworth County Unified School District 453 voted last week to put a $57.8 million bond issue on the ballot in November.
The project list includes $25 million to renovate the high school and add a 4,000-seat athletic stadium with artificial turf, $13 million for a new elementary school, $18 million to renovate and add onto two existing elementary schools, and $1.8 million for furnishings and updated technology.
Trustees considered building a new high school, but balked at the $62 million to $64 million price tag.
