Jobless Claims Slide 14,000 to 351,000

WASHINGTON — Seasonally adjusted initial jobless claims fell 14,000 to 351,000 in the week ended March 10, the Labor Department reported Thursday.

Continuing claims were down to 3.343 million in the week ending March 3 from the prior week’s revised 3.424 million.

Economists predicted 359,000 claims and 3.410 million continuing claims.
