Tax-exempt money market funds reported inflows of $913.9 million in the week ended May 20, raising total net assets to $258.64 billion, according to The Money Fund Report, a service of iMoneyNet.com.
The inflows follow a $1.19 billion decline in the previous week.
The average, seven day simple yield for the 420 weekly reporting funds was unchanged at 0.01%, while the average maturity decreased to 29 days.
The total net assets of the weekly reporting 1,014 taxable money market funds decreased by $10.89 billion to $2.369 trillion in the week ended May 20. The outflow reverses a $3.88 billion inflow in the previous week.
The average, seven-day simple yield for the taxable funds was steady at 0.01%.
Overall, the combined total net assets of the 1,434 weekly reporting money market funds increased by $9.97 billion to $2.628 trillion in the week ended May 20, as inflows decreased from $2.69 billion the week before.
