Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its long-term rating to AA-minus from A-plus on Huber Heights City School District, Ohio's existing general obligation debt.
The outlook is stable.
"The raised rating reflects our view of the district's improved financial position," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Angel Bacio. "The rating further reflects our expectation that the district will maintain its strong operating results."
The district is located in Montgomery County, 8 miles northeast of the city of Dayton and encompasses approximately 25 square miles.
