Slom's bill offers a local reaction - a bit later than other states - to the legal precedent set in the U.S. Supreme Court ruling, Kelo vs. New London, Conn., almost two years ago.

The Senate Committee on Intergovernmental and Military Affairs as well as the Committee on Judiciary and Labor will hear the bill on dates yet to be determined. (c) 2007 The Bond Buyer and SourceMedia, Inc. All rights reserved. http://www.bondbuyer.com http://www.sourcemedia.com
