GDOT will notify the teams on Friday that they can begin to prepare bids. Their responses are due Feb. 28 and the department expects to select a master developer team by mid-summer.

The proposers are Terminus Development Partners LLC with master developers Jacoby Development Inc. and the John Buck Co.; FC Asset Services LLC with master developers Cousins Properties Inc. and the Integral Group LLC; and a third team consisting of H.J. Russell, Hines LP, and the Dawson Co. as master developers.

The MMPT will be a hub for existing and proposed transportation networks serving metro-Atlanta and the region, including rail and bus systems and the Georgia railroad network. It is being designed to accommodate future transportation modes, which may include high-speed rail, light rail, and streetcar services.
