An industry-supported gaming measure will remain on next month’s ballot following a Cole County judge’s decision this week to dismiss a lawsuit challenging the question.

Opponents of the measure argued that it violated Missouri state rules limiting proposals to a single subject. Judge Richard Callahan ruled that the central purpose of the measure is the regulation of gaming and its revenues which complies with the single subject rule.
