Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its long-term rating to AA-minus from A-plus on Freeman School District 33-1, S.D.'s limited-tax general obligation certificates outstanding.
The outlook is stable.
"The raised rating reflects our opinion of the increased debt service coverage levels, which we view as sustainable," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Kathryn Clayton.
