Annette Folmar has joined FHN Financial as a senior vice president on its Texas public finance banking team and will be based in Dallas, the firm announced last week.
Folmar previously worked at Baird, where she served as senior manager and co-managing underwriter on numerous transactions for school districts throughout the state "building a track record of success and deep issuer relationships that will further strengthen FHN Financial's capabilities in the Texas independent school district market," the firm said in a statement.
Prior to joining Baird, Folmar served as chief financial officer at Prosper Independent School District. Her other public sector positions included CFO at Hays Consolidated ISD and treasurer at Austin ISD.
"Annette's expertise and experience add an important new dimension to our already strong Texas K-12 public finance team," Ajay Thomas, FHN Financial's head of public finance, said in the statement. "Her addition supports our ongoing commitment to deliver best-in-class municipal finance solutions and strengthen our competitive position in this important market."
