February Import Prices Up 0.9%; Export Prices Gain 0.6%

February import prices rose 0.9% and export prices grew 0.6%, the U.S. Labor Department said Thursday.

Economists polled by Thomson Reuters expected import prices would rise 0.4%.

In January import prices rose 0.4%, originally reported as a 0.1% increase, and export prices posted an unrevised 0.2% gain.
