Brazoria County MUD 19, Texas, Upgraded to BBB-Plus by S&P

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it has raised its rating on Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 19, Texas' general obligation debt outstanding one notch to BBB-plus from BBB.

The outlook is stable.

"We base the upgrade on the district's strong tax base growth and declining tax rate," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Alexander Rawlings.

At the same time, Standard & Poor's assigned its BBB-plus rating, and stable outlook, to the district's series 2015 unlimited tax refunding bonds.
