The weekly average yield to maturity of the Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index, which is based on 40 long-term bond prices, was down four basis points, at 4.84% for the week ending Feb. 27.
The 20-Bond GO Index of 20-year general obligation yields fell six basis points this week to 4.38%. The index is at its lowest level since June 20, 2013 (33 weeks ago), when it was 4.37%.
The 11-Bond GO Index of higher-grade 20-year GO yields also fell six basis points to 4.09%, which is its lowest level since June 13, 2013, when it was 3.93%.
The Bond Buyer's Revenue Bond Index, which measures 30-year revenue bond yields, slid five basis points this week, to 5.22%, the lowest level since Nov. 7, 2013, when it was 5.18%.
The yield on the U.S. Treasury's 10-year note fell 11 basis points this week to 2.65%, the lowest since Nov. 7.
The yield on the Treasury's 30-year bond plummeted 13 basis points this week, to 3.60%, the lowest since July 3.
