The weekly average yield to maturity of the Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index, which is based on 40 long-term bond prices, was down one basis point this week, at 4.88% for the week ending Feb. 6.
The 20-Bond GO Index of 20-year general obligation yields fell two basis points this week to 4.44%. The index is at its lowest level since July 3, 2013 (31 weeks ago), when it was 4.39%.
The 11-Bond GO Index of higher-grade 20-year GO yields also fell two basis points to 4.15%, which is its lowest level since June 20, 2013, when it was 4.13%.
The Bond Buyer's Revenue Bond Index, which measures 30-year revenue bond yields, slid six basis points this week, to 5.27%, the lowest level since November 26, 2013, when it was 5.23%.
The yield on the U.S. Treasury's 10-year note gained two basis points this week to 2.76%, the highest since Jan. 23.
The yield on the Treasury's 30-year bond jumped five basis points this week, to 3.73%, the highest since Jan. 16.
