Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its underlying rating to AA-minus from A-plus on Big Oak Flat-Groveland Unified School District, Calif.'s general obligation bonds.
The outlook is stable.
"The raised rating is based on our view of the district's consistent financial performance, maintenance of very strong available general fund reserve levels during the past few years, and 'basic-aid' status," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Jen Hansen.
