Adnopoz was formerly a partner in the New York office of Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan, until that firm closed last month.

Previously, he was in-house counsel at UBS Securities and a partner in the public finance group at Harris Beach. Prior to that, Adnopoz practiced public finance law at Torys LLP and at Hawkins, Delafield & Wood. He is licensed in both New York and Connecticut.

"Steve Adnopoz's availability represented a great opportunity for our firm," Stephen Pearlman, head of public finance at Pearlman & Mira, said in a press release. "We had been planning to access the New York market and with Steve we have a well-regarded professional with deep ties among large issuers and the investment banking community."

Bloomfield, N.J.-based Pearlman & Miranda is a New Jersey state certified Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business enterprise and has applications pending for certifications with New York City and State. The company was founded in 2014 and specializes in public finance, project finance, redevelopment and land use, renewable energy, trusts and estates, horse racing and appellate law.

"We are very pleased to expand in New York and to add Steve to our team," Isabel Miranda, managing partner at Pearlman & Miranda, said in the release.

Adnopoz is the chair of the Public Finance Committee and the Section Budget Officer of the State and Local Government Section of the American Bar Association and has been a panelist at National Association of Bond Lawyers workshops and ABA Section meetings.

"I'm really looking forward to joining with the close-knit professionals at Pearlman Miranda," Adnopoz said in the release. "With their team approach and well-respected public finance practice, we'll be able to provide top-flight services to our clients."
