ADA Fishing for New CFO

The Atlanta Development Authority is seeking candidates interested in becoming its chief financial officer.

The CFO is a senior staff member who reports to the president and manages a staff of nine that performs financial, real estate and administrative activities.

Candidates must be certified public accountants with eight to 10 years of experience as a “hands on” financial professional with a public or private entity. Experience with real estate financing and negotiation is required.

Responsibilities include financial management, planning and economic development as well as oversight of tax allocation districts and bond programs, development of annual budgets and reporting to various boards of directors.

The ADA also is searching for candidates interested in becoming vice president for economic development to supervise day-to-day activities of the agency.
