Orrick outpaces the field

Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP extended its lead from a year ago with a total par amount of $21.27 billion or 11.2% share of the market, more than the $17.41 billion and 10.6% from the first half of 2019.

McCall making moves

McCall Parkhurst & Horton LLP more than doubled its par amount from a year ago to $10.92 billion from $4.14 billion, good enough to jump in the rankings to second from eighth.

Hawkins hovering

Despite accumlating a higher part amount in 2020, Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP slipped down to third from second place at this time last year.

The firm has totaled $9.23 billion as bound counsel and $13.52 billion as the top muni underwriters counsel.

Norton nudges up

Norton Rose Fulbright moved up a spot from where it was at this time in 2019, as year-to-date the firm has accounted for $8.56 billion.

Squire slides

Squire Patton Boggs has more par than it did last year but fell one spot nonetheless. The firm has amassed $7 billion in the first six months of 2020 compared to $6.37 billion in the same time last year.

Rest of the best

Kutak Rock LLP fell three spots with $6.89 billion, followed by Nixon Peabody LLP one spot lower to seventh with $6.26 billion. Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo PC elevated to eighth all the way from 20th with $4.94 billion. Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth is right behind with $4.87 billion and Gilmore & Bell PC rounds out the top 10 with $4.44 billion.
