Jobless Claims Fall 12,000 To 367,000 in Jan. 28 Week

WASHINGTON — Seasonally adjusted initial jobless claims fell to 367,000 for the week ending Jan. 28, a decrease of 12,000 from the previous week’s revised level of 379,000, the Labor Department reported Thursday.

Continuing claims dropped to 3.437 million for the week ending Jan. 21.

Economists projected 370,000 initial and 3.437 million continuing claims.
