The Marion County Health and ­Hospital Corp. on Nov. 3 will ask voters in Indianapolis and Marion County to approve a $754 million bond proposal to finance a new facility that would replace Wishard Hospital.

Wishard officials said they currently pay roughly $25 million annually to maintain the Indianapolis hospital’s buildings, which average 60 years old. Debt service on a new hospital would total $38 million annually, they said.
