Treasury Year Bills Go At 1.955% High Rate

The Treasury Department yesterday auctioned $20 billion of one-year bills at a 1.955% high yield, a price of 98.023278.

The coupon equivalent was 2.012%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.07. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 60.62%. The median yield was 1.945%. The low yield was 1.840%.

Tenders totaled $61,357,537,500 and the Treasury accepted $20,000,017,500, including $366,537,500 of noncompetitive.

Treasury also auctioned $30 billion of four-week bills at a 0.350% high yield, a price of 99.972778. The coupon equivalent was 0.355%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.86. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 6.92%. The median yield was 0.090%. The low yield was 0.000%.

Tenders totaled $85,948,347,900 and the Treasury accepted $30,000,067,900, including $666,822,900 of noncompetitive.
