The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $14 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.740% high yield, a price of 99.251778.
The coupon equivalent was 0.757%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.58.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 30.61%. The median yield was 0.700%. The low yield was 0.680%.
The bills have an issue date of Dec. 10 and are due Dec. 8, 2016.
Tenders totaled $50,111,417,800 and the Treasury accepted $14,000,153,800, including $146,417,800 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
