The coupon equivalent was 0.685%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.95.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 83.92%. The median yield was 0.655%. The low yield was 0.640%.
The bills have an issue date of Jan. 7 and are due Jan. 5, 2017.
Tenders totaled $63,238,618,400 and the Treasury accepted $16,000,162,400, including $135,918,400 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
