Treasury Year Bills Go at 0.630% High Rate

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $20 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.630% high yield, a price of 99.363000.

The coupon equivalent was 0.642%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.48.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 62.72%. The median yield was 0.610%. The low yield was 0.590%.

The bills have an issue date of Sept. 15 and are due Sept. 14, 2017.

Tenders totaled $69,529,668,900 and the Treasury accepted $20,000,268,900, including $180,968,900 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
