Treasury Year Bills Go at 0.570% High Rate

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $20 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.570% high yield, a price of 99.423667.

The coupon equivalent was 0.580%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.59.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 95.92%. The median yield was 0.555%. The low yield was 0.540%.

The bills have an issue date of Aug. 18 and are due Aug. 17, 2017.

Tenders totaled $71,852,878,300 and the Treasury accepted $20,000,038,300, including $199,878,300 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
