NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $26 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.185% high yield, a price of 99.812944.

The coupon equivalent was 0.188%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.31.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 97.87%. The median yield was 0.180%. The low yield was 0.160%.

The bills have an issue date of April 5 and are due April 4, 2013.

Tenders totaled $112,088,510,100 and the Treasury accepted $26,000,106,100, including $141,810,100 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
