NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $25 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.090% high yield, a price of 99.909000.
The coupon equivalent was 0.092%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.65.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 39.58%. The median yield was 0.080%. The low yield was 0.065%.
The bills have an issue date of Sept. 22 and are due Sept. 20, 2012.
Tenders totaled $116,295,031,200 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,324,200, including $136,031,200 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
