The Treasury Department said Monday it will sell $40 billion of four-week discount bills Wednesday.
There are currently $73.998 billion of four-week bills outstanding.
The bills settle Nov. 13 and are due Dec. 11.
Federal Reserve banks hold nothing in maturing bills in their own accounts.
