Treasury to Sell $34B 4-Week Bills

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department said Monday it will sell $34 billion of four-week discount bills Tuesday.

There are currently $82.007 billion of four-week, or 28-day, bills outstanding.

The bills settle August 31 and are due September 30.

Federal Reserve banks hold $3.782 billion in maturing bills in their own accounts.
