Treasury to Sell $31B 4-Week Bills

The Treasury Department yesterday said it will sell $31 billion of four-week discount bills today.

There are currently $105.003 billion of four-week, or 28-day, bills outstanding.

Federal Reserve banks hold $6.285 billion in maturing bills in their own accounts.

Treasury also said it will auction $25 billion 56-day cash management bills on Wednesday.
