NEW YORK - The Treasury Department said Monday it will sell $27 billion of four-week discount bills Tuesday.
There are currently $57.002 billion of four-week bills outstanding.
The bills settle Sept 15 and are due Oct. 13.
Federal Reserve banks hold $2.418 billion in maturing bills in their own accounts.
"Ceasefire optimism augmented by a liquidity-driven risk-on macro market environment should be neutral for duration and positive for credit spreads," BofA analysts wrote.
