Newly issued Treasury securities held in stripped form increased about $2 billion in July to a total of $186.049 billion, the Bureau of the Public Debt reported Thursday.

Through the Strips — Separate Trading of Registered Interest and Principal of Securities — program, about $28.281 billion of Treasury securities were reconstituted in July, up $3.059 billion from $25.222 billion in June.
