Treasury sells $35B of 4-week bills

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $35 billion of four-week bills at a 1.180% high yield, a price of 99.908222.

The coupon equivalent was 1.197%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.10.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 15.60%. The median rate was 1.150%. The low rate was 1.120%.

The bills have an issue date of Dec. 7 and are due Jan. 4, 2018.

Tenders totaled $108,549,240,200 and the Treasury accepted $35,000,190,200, including $537,964,400 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account.
