Treasury Indexed 30-Years Go at 1.200% High Yield

The Treasury Department Thursday sold $7 billion of inflation-indexed 29-year four-month bonds at a 1.200% yield, an adjusted price of 89.991203, with a 3/4% coupon.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.62.

All competitive tenders at yields lower than the high yield were accepted in full. Tenders at the market-clearing yield were allotted 51.51%.

The bonds are have an issue date of Oct. 30, a dated date of Aug. 15 and are due Feb. 15, 2045.

Among competitive tenders, the median yield was 1.125% and the low yield was 1.088%, Treasury said.

Tenders totaled $18,312,523,700 of which the Treasury accepted $7,000,000,200. Noncompetitive tenders totaled $17,113,700. The Federal Reserve Banks bought nothing for their own accounts.
