The Treasury Department yesterday sold $8 billion of inflation-indexed 20-year bonds at a 1.807% yield, an adjusted price of 99.351033, with a 1 3/4% coupon.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.79.
Tenders at the market-clearing yield were allotted 23.09%.
Among competitive tenders, the median yield was 1.750% and the low yield 1.730%, Treasury said.
Tenders totaled $14,300,685,000, of which the Treasury accepted $8,000,003,000. Noncompetitive tenders totaled $37.505 million. Federal Reserve banks bought $974,272.
