NEW YORK - The Treasury Department auctioned $29 billion of seven-year notes, with a 1 3/4% coupon, a 1.791% high yield, a price of 99.731389.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.59.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 59.52%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.708%. The low yield was 1.600%.
Tenders totaled $75,061,463,900 and the Treasury accepted $29,000,013,900 including $13,563,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $1,102,617,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes are dated Oct. 31 and are due Oct. 31, 2018.
