The Treasury Department auctioned $34 billion of five-year notes, with a 1 3/8% coupon, a 1.395% high yield, a price of 99.903732.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.60.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 51.82%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.350%. The low yield was 1.285%.
Tenders totaled $88,347,500,700 and the Treasury accepted $34,000,135,700 including $58,080,700 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $8,670,952,300 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, which are dated May 31, will mature May 31, 2021.
