The Treasury Department auctioned $34 billion of five-year notes, with a 1 1/8% coupon, a 1.180% high yield, a price of 99.733839.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.27.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 59.67%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.130%. The low yield was 1.040%.
Tenders totaled $77,112,889,700 and the Treasury accepted $34,000,084,700 including $30,112,700 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $2,374,353,200 for their own account.
The notes, which are dated July 31, will mature July 31, 2021.
