NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $34 billion of four-week bills at a 0.155% high yield, a price of 99.987944.
The coupon equivalent was 0.157%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.23.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 48.51%. The median yield was 0.140%. The low yield was 0.010%.
The bills have an issue date of August 19 and are due September 16.
Tenders totaled $143,948,902,100 and the Treasury accepted $34,001,405,600, including $287,453,200 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $2,418,028,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
