NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $31 billion of four-week bills at a 0.150% high yield, a price of 99.988333.
The coupon equivalent was 0.152%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.51.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 2.20%. The median yield was 0.140%. The low yield was 0.100%.
The bills have an issue date of August 5 and are due September 2.
Tenders totaled $139,754,325,000 and the Treasury accepted $31,001,585,000, including $272,851,000 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $3,781,546,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
