NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $31 billion of four-week bills at a 0.145% high yield, a price of 99.988722.
The coupon equivalent was 0.147%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.38.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 10.02%. The median yield was 0.135%. The low yield was 0.010%.
The bills have an issue date of August 12 and are due September 9.
Tenders totaled $135,901,951,200 and the Treasury accepted $31,000,572,200, including $285,753,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $6,285,071,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
