NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $33 billion of four-week bills at a 0.050% high yield, a price of 99.996111.
The coupon equivalent was 0.051%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.94.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 29.61%. The median yield was 0.045%. The low yield was 0.030%.
The bills have an issue date of Feb. 2 and are due March 1.
Tenders totaled $163,023,378,500 and the Treasury accepted $33,001,460,800, including $183,551,700 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $2,415,028,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
