NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $30 billion of four-week bills at a 0.015% high yield, a price of 99.998833.
The coupon equivalent was 0.015%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.41.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 36.29%. The median yield was 0.010%. The low yield was zero.
The bills have an issue date of Oct. 20 and are due Nov. 17.
Tenders totaled $132,397,785,600 and the Treasury accepted $30,000,046,100, including $251,628,600 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $5,937,991,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
