The Treasury Department Wednesday auctioned $5 billion of four-week bills at a zero high yield, a price of par.
The coupon equivalent was zero. The bid-to-cover ratio was 9.66.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 10.92%. The median rate was zero. The low rate was zero.
The bills have an issue date of Oct. 15 and are due Nov. 12.
Tenders totaled $48,276,479,600 and the Treasury accepted $5,000,025,900, including $252,687,300 non-competitive. The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
