The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.500% high yield, a price of 99.961111.
The coupon equivalent was 0.507%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.46.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 58.87%. The median rate was 0.485%. The low rate was 0.440%.
The bills have an issue date of Jan. 12 and are due Feb. 9.
Tenders totaled $155,657,195,000 and the Treasury accepted $45,000,347,500, including $326,458,500 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account.
