The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.475% high yield, a price of 99.963056.
The coupon equivalent was 0.482%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.25.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 6.22%. The median rate was 0.460%. The low rate was 0.430%.
The bills have an issue date of Jan. 5 and are due Feb. 2.
Tenders totaled $146,241,747,300 and the Treasury accepted $45,000,117,300, including $380,425,300 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account.
