The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.290% high yield, a price of 99.977444.
The coupon equivalent was 0.294%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.38.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 24.31%. The median rate was 0.270%. The low rate was 0.250%.
The bills have an issue date of July 14 and are due Aug. 11.
Tenders totaled $152,302,270,200 and the Treasury accepted $45,000,227,700, including $313,997,800 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
