The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.270% high yield, a price of 99.979000.
The coupon equivalent was 0.274%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.92.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 52.44%. The median rate was 0.250%. The low rate was 0.240%.
The bills have an issue date of July 28 and are due Aug. 25.
Tenders totaled $176,232,615,600 and the Treasury accepted $45,000,075,600, including $252,047,600 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account.
