The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $55 billion of four-week bills at a 0.270% high yield, a price of 99.979000.
The coupon equivalent was 0.275%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.59.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 25.74%. The median rate was 0.250%. The low rate was 0.210%.
The bills have an issue date of Feb. 4 and are due March 3.
Tenders totaled $197,328,792,900 and the Treasury accepted $55,000,243,900, including $319,483,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
