The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.235% high yield, a price of 99.981722.
The coupon equivalent was 0.239%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.42.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 74.67%. The median rate was 0.200%. The low rate was 0.150%.
The bills have an issue date of Dec. 10 and are due Jan. 7, 2016.
Tenders totaled $153,690,405,900 and the Treasury accepted $45,000,163,400, including $277,187,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
