The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.220% high yield, a price of 99.982889.
The coupon equivalent was 0.224%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.35.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 47.82%. The median rate was 0.200%. The low rate was 0.140%.
The bills have an issue date of Jan. 14 and are due Feb. 11.
Tenders totaled $150,565,405,400 and the Treasury accepted $45,000,005,400, including $257,409,700 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
